Patina & Junkyards

Ten years ago, I would have never considered delving into this aspect of automotive photography as much as I have over the past three years. In that time, however, I have become facinated by the way Mother Nature has painted her own story on vehicles. Whether it's surface patina, rust or rot - the effects combined with light and shadow, can be fascinating. I'm finding there are more details, focal points, and sometimes character than in fully restored cars. This section also contains pictures of vintage VW's - the only non-American vehicle I will photograph.
